PI#21 Planning Events

PI Planning is a cadence-based event that serves as the heartbeat of each Agile Release Train (ART), aligning all teams on an ART to a shared mission and vision.

The PI21 planning events within the Software and Computing ecosystem will be hosted as large face to face events located in Rome, Italy. Face to face communications are the most effective form of communication, and allow a much more diverse set of interactions to take place. 

The following PI21 Planning Events will be hosted in Rome, Italy:

• ObsMgt and Controls (OMC)
• Data Processing (DP)
• Services (SER)
• MID (MID)
• LOW (LOW)

Teams and members are strongly encouraged to attend in person to maximise the benefits of the face to face event, however, each individual should consider their personal risk profile and fitness to travel, and may elect to attend using remote video conferencing facilities. Remote video conferencing facilities will be made available for all planned sessions.

The SRCNet planning model and location for PI21 is yet to be decided. Appropriate logistical information will be made available nearer to the time of the SRCNet PI21 planning event.
