Here is some general guidance to help prepare you for the best experience on Zoom Webinar:
Before the Webinar
Check your internet connection. A stable, high-speed connection prevents audio/video issues. If possible, use wired Ethernet or sit close to your Wi-Fi router.
Update Zoom. Make sure you have the latest version of the Zoom app installed.
Test your audio. Open Zoom → Settings → Audio to check your speaker/headphone output.
Find a quiet space. Even though attendees are usually muted, it helps you hear clearly.
Join a few minutes early. This gives you time to resolve any issues or download updates.
When Joining
Use your full name. Hosts often use this to track attendance or admit participants.
Please note: As we are using zoom webinar, you will not have your video or mic switched on, unless we give you permission to do so.
During the Webinar
Use the Q&A box for questions. We will not look at chat for questions.
Use chat appropriately. Only send appropriate messages.
Technical Tips
If audio is unclear, switch between computer audio and phone dial-in.
If video freezes, turn off HD video (if applicable) or close unused apps.
Have headphones handy to avoid echo or background noise.
