Description
Participation of the SKACH community in early science with SKA will be essential to prepare for future key science projects, both in terms of building a hands-on data processing track record and stress-testing local support infrastructures like the chSRC.
I will organise a mini-workshop to get participants of the SKA Days to brainstorm about targets for SKA-LOW science verification (SV). During this workshop participants will form teams, in which they can critically discuss their early ideas and assess to what extend these align with the SKAO's key goals for SV observations. At the start of the workshop I will briefly introduce the expected timeline, available observing modes, selection process and the overarching goals of the SKA-LOW SV campaign in 2027.
