Description
The CoDR is conducted at the end of the concept phase. The aim of the CoDR is to confirm that the ‘problem’ has been thoroughly explored and is well understood. Candidate technologies, technology trends, technology options, the status of work already done and still planned by precursors, design studies and other pathfinder arrays is reviewed at this point. The Review is of documents that detail the work done over the duration of the study. The presentations are intended to guide the Panel in their review of the work and to provide a platform for clarification. Observers are invited for the purposes of Project wide co-ordination and dissemination of Project products. An opportunity will be provided for observers to review CoDR documents and provide written feedback both before and immediately after the review sessions. As the sessions themselves take the form of presentations for the benefit of the Panel and time is limited, we ask that Observer comments be written so that maximum time is available for Panel questions to be answered.
