Description
Telescope Manager (TM) shall provide to Central Signal Processor (CSP) regular updates for delay tracking and beam-forming parameters (for all on-going observations/scans). Delay Models are specified in a form of coefficients of a polynomial, number of coefficients per model and cadence for the updates is still TBD; some estimates are provided in the CSP to TM ICDs (for mid it may be 3 coefficients per antenna per polarization every 10 seconds). Weights used in beam-forming and Jones Matrices shall be provided by SDP, via TM (cadence TBD).
Topic for discussion: Should these parameters be delivered to CSP using the same method and approach as other configuration parameters? In other words should they be defined as parameters of the TANGO device?
