Most talk slots are 15 minutes with some being 25 minutes. We recommend leaving a few minutes for questions.
There will be slack channels for each day and a place to ask questions on slack for each talk.
If you are unable to make your given talk time a prerecorded talk is possible, please contact Tessa Vernstrom to arrange.
For in-person talks, all talks will be given from a single laptop. A google drive link is available above where you can upload your talk beforehand so it may be downloaded to the designated computer. Please upload the slides before the start of your session.
For posters, all the sparkler talks will be Monday afternoon. Each speaker will have two minutes to present. Again we will want these slides to be uploaded beforehand. There will be space at the venue to hang physical posters, of standard poster size. There is a slack channel where you can post digital versions of your poster as well #sparcsxii_posters_sparklers . You may also post links there to pre-recorded versions of your sparkler talk or if you have a recording of a longer talk for the poster topic you may also post links there.
If poster presenters cannot make the time for the sparkler talk, given timezones or schedules, you may pre-record a sparkler video and upload that to the google drive such that it may be played.
