Note that the Penticton Lakeside Resort Convention Centre Hotel where the conference will be held has a range of rooms set aside for conference attendees with a special rates detailed below. Please state at the time of booking you will attend the SKA Engineering meeting to obtain the privileged rate.

Breakfast is not included in Standard Guestroom rates. For those guests wishing breakfast, our Hooded Merganser Restaurant which is nestled on the waves of Okanagan Lake just in front of the Resort opens at 7:00 a.m. daily for breakfast. Guests may also order breakfast from the Hooded Merganser to their guestroom via the Room Service Menu.

These rates are subject to applicable taxes. Parking is also $5.00 per vehicle/per day for in-house guests
Upon check-in at the hotel, you may wish to take advantage of the hotel's Eco-friendly Special which is offered to those guests staying in the hotel for 2 or more nights. Should they choose to opt for this program, there will be no housekeeping service to their guestroom during their stay. In lieu, they will receive a $10.00 voucher - 1 per each night's stay - which they may use against food and beverage purchases in the Hotel outlets.
The vouchers have no cash value in that if a voucher was used for a cup of takeout Coffee, no change would be given. As well, each voucher is dated for the day following the night's stay and can only be used on the day it is dated for. For those guests taking advantage of this program, additional towels or coffee packets may be required for their guestroom; which can be accessed by contacting the Front Desk directly.
