The aim of this meeting is to provide a snapshot of the world wide progress toward achieving the Work Package 2 objectives of the Seventh Framework PrepSKA Programme viz:to produce a detailed costed system design for Phase 1 of the SKA. Due to there being restricted time available, participants are requested to concentrate their efforts on those aspects of the project which relate to the WP2 milestones as they are described in the Revised Description of Work, which has been split into its different Work Packages and attached to the relevant sessions in the meeting timetable. "INDUSTRY" PLEASE NOTE - The WP2 meeting is only open to personnel from SKA partnering institutions and SKA committees.
