The fifth edition of the international Public Awareness and Engagement with Research Infrastructures conference comes to Morges, Switzerland
For whom is it?
If you are a communication professional working for a research infrastructure, then this conference is a must-visit! It offers professionals in the field of science communications, outreach, public relations, public policy, and media relations to share their knowledge, grow their know-how and benefit from best practices.
With an expected 150 participants, the PAERI’24 conference is small enough, so you can network well, and it is exclusive to communication professionals from large research organisations.
Where is it?
PAERI’24 is taking place in Switzerland and is hosted by SKACH – The Swiss Consortium to the SKA Observatory. The conference will take place from Wednesday 27 to 29 November 2024 at the CUBE in Morges, very close to the Léman Lake and its beautiful Swiss Riviera.
What is in for me?
You will be able to follow exciting sessions both in person and online. Sessions will take place from Wednesday 27 November 2024 to Thursday 28 November 2024. There is an opportunity to join in a visit to CERN (the European Laboratory for Particle Physics) on Friday 29 November 2024, home to the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) where physicists and engineers are probing fundamental physics and the nature of our Universe.
Who is organizing it?
The conference is organized by a dedicated subcommittee. We are communication professionals across Europe organized in the PAERI (Public Awareness and Engagement with Research Infrastructures) working group within the ERF-AISBL (LINK: www.erf-aisbl.eu/) .
